Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities: Provides oversight and talent management of shared proposal resources of the Southwest District including graphic designers, proposal coordinators and proposal managers Oversees a high volume of bid and proposal work for five District offices in close coordination with the Area Managers, District Marketing Manager and local Marketing Managers to ensure needs are being met Provides resources to technical staff to ensure that marketing deliverables are prepared in a timely manner and are compelling and compliant Assigns resources to support the pursuit and proposal management process, participates in kick-off meetings, color team reviews and other key strategy meetings to ensure compliance and achieve winning outcomes Increases production efficiencies of the marketing resource team by improving pursuit and proposal development process and tools Acts as pursuit/proposal manager or interview coach as needed Conducts training and mentoring of personnel, including personnel reviews Reviews and provides quality checks for proposal work products Talent is the essence of meeting our client s objectives, goals and challenges. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in marketing/communications or related field and a minimum of 10 years experience in the AEC industry working with marketing/proposal staff and related production/sales efforts Experience leading large, diverse and sometimes virtual proposal teams including leading storyboarding sessions, strategy development meetings and review sessions Experience with strategizing, brainstorming, writing, and editing copy for proposals, presentations, and related marketing materials Excellent communication and coordination skills (both written and oral) Superior organizational, time management and interpersonal skills Strong personal initiative and problem-solving skills Strong writing capabilities and meticulous attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Previous staff management experience.
