Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute best-in-class scalable global content strategy and plans Own, write for, edit, and manage various startup content formats and channels, which may include web pages, newsletters, blog, Twitter handle, videos, and AWS Loft and startup event programming. Develop, launch, and curate data-driven, startup-focused content, with a strong focus on developing non-technical editorial resources, and conceive/create new content types that speak to startups Develop and curate startup customer videos and video library Manage the startup case study library Test and learn, iterate, and adapt content and content channels to help maintain fresh compelling stories, tools, data, and videos Partner with our internal startup evangelist, solutions architects, business development managers, product marketing managers, internal and external collaborators to produce industry-leading technical and non-technical startup content Deliver metrics weekly with in-depth assessment and actionable recommendations Write startup marketing outbound campaigns designed to promote awareness of our content and drive traffic to it Basic Qualifications 8 years of experience as a writer, editor, and content strategist in a data-centric environment Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study Excellent visual story-telling ability Ability to leverage BI tools Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Inkscape, or other graphic design software Experience with HTML5 / CSS and Python for building dynamic web content Experience with web-based data visualization technologies like D3.js Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to influence and advance projects in a cross-functional, matrixed environment Must be able to present examples of prior work Detail-oriented and organized Understanding of statistical methods and predictive analytics preferred Preferred Qualifications 10 years of relevant work experience in content creation and management in a data-centric environment Strong proofreading and editing skills Exceptional writing skills and proven ability to communicate through written word, video, and design In-depth story, article, script, and whitepaper-level writing experience, with proven ability to disseminate complex ideas and topics into easy-to-understand content Experience planning and managing content projects, including coordinating with other stakeholder teams and outcome owners Experience working at a large-scale complex organization, with experience partnering with global teams Experience measuring, interpreting and reporting results for events and transforming raw data sets into compelling and meaningful visual illustrations Proficient in Microsoft Office and Tableau (or other mainstream data visualization tools) Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business Customer obsession and passion for delivering with the highest standards Strong bias for action and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Analytical tendencies with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible Strong project management skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization Able to travel is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer.
