Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Own end-to-end email messaging strategy with the ability to effectively evaluate segmentation, campaign performance, and content design Leverage data to develop new messaging strategies and continually optimize campaign performance Partner with cross-functional marketing and game teams to develop and deploy effective marketing campaigns (including push notifications) in a timely manner while setting measurable campaign goals Create and deliver A/B and multivariate testing for email and push notifications Increase the engagement and success of Aftershock's messaging channelsMaintain campaign calendars to ensure all messaging is on-track for scheduled deployment dates Strategically address target segments and player data to create effective communications with personalized copy and creative Analyze and report on email and push campaign success by evaluating KPI's, including click-through rates, open rates, and unsubscribe ratesProvide recommendations based on results Identify and recommend new opportunities for email and push notification campaign testing and targeting Research emerging best practices and technologies to create innovative, leading campaigns Provide business requirements to technical teams to construct more compelling and dynamic messaging and the tools that facilitate them Share program insights and recommendations throughout the organization and key stakeholders A BA/BS required 5 years of online marketing experiences, with at least 3 years of push and email marketing expertise in a gaming or mobile company Previous success in managing high volume, database driven push and email programs, including development, execution, and analysis Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract data to inform future campaigns Forensic attention to detail with the ability to execute projects from beginning to end Exceptional computer skills, including experience with HTML and Excel Experience with 3rd party PUSH & ESP platforms. Candidate must be comfortable with technology applications Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a cross-functional, team based environment Ability to work with the Los Angeles game studio while reporting into functional team lead in San Francisco.
