Staff Accountant

Seeking Staff Accountant. The candidate will handle accounting and analysis duties and responsibilities. Traditional accounting duties will include month end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations. Financial analysis duties will include analytics reviewing the company's actual to budget performance, ad hoc analysis and looking at the key drivers of the company's business, and then help drive the company's budgeting and forecasting efforts. This role will be communicating extensively with both operations and the Financial Planning and Analysis team. A Bachelor's in Accounting is required. Candidates should have 1-3 years of strong industry accounting or public accounting experience. CPA is preferred or that a candidate is working towards becoming certified. Candidates must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and confidently, knowledge of current accounting standards, and strong Excel skills.
