Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The VP will lead the campaign development team to create insights and strategies that will create compelling customer messaging. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Functions: Brand Marketing Collaborate with agency or other creative teams to lead them in delivering work that is on strategy, on brand and creatively compelling. Ensure consistency among teams and channels within specific campaigns to reinforce brand strategy. Work closely with Campaign Planning and Campaign Strategy teams to stay up to date with 52 week calendar, and ensure campaign plans are in sync. Develop seasonal/quarterly game plans, strategy overview and collaborate with media team to ensure media support syncs with game plan. Oversee development of business briefs for agency partners and creative briefs for internal team. Lead briefing sessions for all internal teams so brand ideas can be integrated throughout all appropriate channels. Lead development of presentations for brand initiatives - pre, during and post. Lead the collaboration and sharing of ideas to inform all parties throughout process. Lead Campaign Strategy providing a thorough analysis of results of all elements along with recommendations for the future. Media Develop and maintain strong partnerships with media teams. Partner, in collaboration with internal media team and media agency to infuse brand strategy and ideas into plans. Offer ongoing guidance and feedback to media teams on channel strategies and media plans to ensure brand initiatives are receiving appropriate support. Planning Support SVP in long range planning for all brand initiatives including development of tent poles, micro campaigns and brand strategy. Keep abreast of latest retail, marketing, entertainment, consumer and cultural trends to spur and provoke fresh thinking and foster innovation. Collaborate with Consumer Insights team on development of testing for brand work. Stay up-to-date on any relevant studies coming from CI that can inform brand campaign development - consumer preferences and perceptions, customer segmentation analyses. Add value with opinions and insights in strategy development meetings and creative presentations. Administrative Monitor ongoing progress and delivery of all brand projects. Ensure team is managing budgets according to plan, anticipating and communicating any issues. Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality. Qualifications: Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree required. 10 years senior account management experience at advertising agency or client side experience leading integrated marketing communications programs as well as managing ad agencies required. Communication Skills: Excellent Communicator - strong verbal and written skills. Persuasive, experienced presenter. Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and analytical skills. Reasoning Ability: Excellent analytical skills, ability to quickly synthesize data and identify and summarize most relevant information. Physical Demands: This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time. Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds. Other Skills: Proven abilities as a marketing strategist. Must be able to ideate and provide insightful point of view. Strong creative sensibilities. Ability to judge and apply a critical eye to creative work and offer useful and constructive feedback to creative teams. Strategic acumen and discipline with regard to brand management. Great Team Player - experience working in collaborative environments leading cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational management skills. Believes in empowering and delegating responsibilities to team. Manages direct reports constructively, provides timely feedback, challenges to develop skills.
