Job Responsibilities and Requirements: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Business Strategy and Goal Setting Develop enterprise level segment long term business strategy to guide the enterprise s resources and efforts to capture YOY portfolio growth and serve the segments financial needs Identify business opportunities and assess customer experience needs to influence and develop long term and annual plan, goals and metrics for key business priorities Develop and implement business and marketing strategies targeted at acquiring more African American prospects and deepening/retaining our relationships with existing African American customers Identify opportunities that will deliver measurable results that drive increases in brand consideration and awareness with African American prospects and customers Develop the segment s emotional connection to the brand that ensures market differentiation, positive perception and long-term brand equity with African American consumers Initiative Development and Coordination Direct cross-functional and cross-LOB working teams to deliver on broad, enterprise-wide segment-specific business and marketing strategies, programs and initiatives Develop and coordinate execution of segment-specific programs, communications, processes and training Partnering with our Integrated Marketing Leads, independently manage projects and initiatives that utilize multiple marketing and sales channels including paid, earned, and owned media Leverage key sponsorships and community/foundation investments to enhance s presence and delivery of financial guidance in the African American community aligned with segment strategy and CSR priorities Insights Development, Measurement/Reporting Oversee segmentation-based analytics and use findings to provide relevant insights and context as business partners shape business, sales and marketing activities focused on the broader African American customer Oversee, analyze and interpret primary and secondary research, segment trends and business data to inform segment specific business and marketing strategies On a proactive and consultative basis, provide lines of business, channel managers, team member networks, and regional partners with strategic insights and direction needed to create plans and tactics that will help attract, deepen relationships and retain segment households and consumers Segment Socialization and Advocacy Form effective relationships across the enterprise with key business partners to influence actions, and to ensure activities across the organization are aligned with the overall enterprise segment strategy Represent voice of the African American consumer and champion customer experience across the enterprise Ability to travel nationally to support segment efforts and represent at key events Location: Open to any location in the footprint. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of marketing experience Desired Qualifications: Financial services industry experience A Master's degree or higher.
