Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The successful Sales Manager is a People Manager with strong aptitude for Sales and Operations. You ll act as a coach to the team and help Account Executives develop their skills and careers. You will engage in C-level client discussions and help close deals. You will proactively identify growth opportunities for the team and business. You will influence relevant internal stakeholders to drive innovation and performance excellence while keeping your clients best interests in mind. You ll act as an internal advocate for your team to ensure they re successful. You ll identify and evangelize best practices for go-to-market and team operations. You will work on team and business projects as needed. You will be asked to coach your direct reports, mentor people outside of your team and help Leadership guide our Sales Readiness curriculum. Drive Engagement With your team, establish trusted relationships with our clients by providing high quality customer engagement activities (events, training, quarterly business reviews, consultative meetings). You are to build C-level relationships with key clients. You also need to understand clients working environment and best way to foster success with the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions offerings and identify and eliminate challenges through this relationship building process. Drive Revenue and Results Proactively identify areas of growth opportunity for the business, your team, and our clients. Launch new ideas and iterate until you find the right recipe for success. Being able to influence and develop others without direct reporting relationships is critical. Elevate the Overall Client Experience We place great emphasis on delivering an exceptional client experience and it is the job of the Sales Manager to make sure we support our clients business with excellence. We want our customers to want to work with us because they love our products and doing business with us. Strengthen the Company We re growing fast and there s a lot to do around here We expect our Sales Managers to act like owners and have an impact outside of the core sales function by demonstrating leadership, providing leverage and producing results helping us scale effectively. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or related field 5 years of people management experience 8 years of experience in media, advertising/marketing technology sales or senior-level client-side Marketing Leadership / Agency global account leadership experience 5 years leading Enterprise client relationships Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of Digital Media and Online Advertising industry experience Experience managing a portfolio of mature accounts and creating leverage and opportunity in that portfolio. Experience managing a team of high performing, seasoned sales executives Proven track record of Developing Talent and delivering Strong Revenue results Diverse Advertiser and Category experience required; a successful track record with Marketers in the B2B Industry is a big plus Experience collaborating with internal and external Senior Executives across a large organization Established reputation as a High Integrity, Top Performer Building AEs skillset to create and land $1m pitches.
