Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Summary: Develops and implements marketing and public relations activities that support awareness and utilization of the rehabilitation program. The incumbent designs program development, quality improvement, and problem solving and productivity enhancement in collaboration with medical and nursing leadership, rehabilitation therapy staff, and nursing staff. Supports the business of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department by sourcing referrals to the department throughout the San Francisco area. Responsible for the development of a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship between the hospital and physician community that enables the fostering of the highest quality programs and services. The goal is to ensure a full complement of programs and services provided by the highest quality physicians that will enable the hospital to respond to the identified needs of the communities it serves in support of the organization's strategic goals and fulfillment of its mission. Requirements: Five (5) years liaising with physicians in a sales capacity with the goal of building strong professional collaborative relationships along with a strong background in customer service and working with physicians. Experience working with an adult disabled population. Excellent written and interpersonal skills for functioning independently and make independent judgment that impact Dignity Health. Expertise in regulatory and reimbursement mechanisms. Ability to function in a fast-paced, stressful environment. Experience in casework, public health, community health, gerontology nursing or home health industries and regulation. Bachelors in business administration, marketing, communications or healthcare- related field. Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills necessary to develop recommendations and solutions. Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary to interact with all organizational levels inside and outside the organization. Working knowledge of clinical diagnoses and psychiatric treatment procedures. Ability to act assertively with tact and communicate effectively with a wide spectrum of the public with diverse ethnic and cultural background. Ability to function independently and pay attention to detail. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment quickly. Preferred: Master of physical therapy, Bachelor or Master's degree in nursing, Bachelor or Masters in social work, Masters in occupational therapy, etc.
