Seeking a Windows Engineer. The candidate should have solid analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills. Will be responsible for the activities associated with the deployment of Windows servers. Work will include utilizing standardize processes, problem resolution, hardware and software support within installations and upgrades. Additional responsibilities will include project participation and execution for solutions as well as providing guidance and technical direction. Will also be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to Technology Partners within the organization and work with the Engineering division. This position will also participate with the larger team in support related activities where needed. Candidate must possess solid analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills. Should have 5-7 years of direct experience in managing and monitoring Windows Server environments. Experience in the design, setup, and configuration of Windows Servers required. Demonstrated abilities in complex troubleshooting, high availability systems and capacity planning in a production environment is required. Production experience with Windows 2003 server, Windows 2008 servers, IIS, Microsoft Operations Manager, and SAN attached systems in an enterprise environment required. Experience with Clustering, VMWARE, Microsoft SQL, Citrix, VERITAS Storage Foundation, and NAS solutions is required. Must demonstrate the ability to understand the business and the application. Candidates who have done work engineering solutions for the business will be successful in this position. Should have 5-7 years of experience building, administering, monitoring and managing Windows Server environments. Experience with performance management using tools such as Microsoft Operations Manager. Capacity Planning skills would be a plus. Experience with high-availability and Disaster-Recovery using technologies such as Microsoft Cluster Services and SRDF. Experience with the administration or setup of SQL Server is a plus.
