Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Develop a robust, multi-year business plan for the U.S. Proprietary Products card portfolio, including a clear articulation of priorities, key initiatives and financial drivers required to deliver on established business obligations. Create an effective framework and infrastructure to ensure accountability and successful execution of critical activities, including building strong relationships and a working interaction model with key business partners. Collaborate and run task force teams partnering with Acquisitions, Existing Customer Management, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology and Rewards. Significantly improve financial and customer reporting and communications. Own several critical strategic projects. Facilitate an exceptional focus on driving incremental revenue and reducing expenses. Optimize budget and technology resources. Provide tactical and strategic support to broader U.S. Card efforts (e.g., annual business plans, critical presentations, financial reporting). Play a leadership role in driving employee engagement and making Citi, US Cards and PPM a great place to work. Develop senior level presentations and manage team forums. Lead efforts associated with budgeting, reporting, and other business management activities. Ensure an effective control environment, supporting identification and resolution of issues. Manage 1-2 direct reports. 10 years of relevant experience; preferably in the financial services industry Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong financial acumen Ability to prioritize workload and drive results with a high sense of urgency Accomplished change manager that is able to set business direction and drive operating change Applies ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations Extensive experience in developing and executing strategies and in-depth knowledge of the credit card space Strong relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies, and senior management Bachelor s degree required; MBA preferred.
