Job Responsibilities and Requirements: We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Fiserv Biller Solutions Account Management team. The Associate in this role will deliver superior levels of service & sales through the education, development, and proactive management of existing Clients. Account Executives are responsible and accountable for decision making that will drive the following results: Achieve assigned revenue targets Successfully negotiate and execute targeted Client Renewal Agreements Pursue and close add-on sales with existing Clients, such as, new payment channels, new payment types, new lines of business, and additional Fiserv products/services About our Business: Fiserv s Biller Solutions division offers a portfolio of industry-leading billing and payments products including on-demand payments, bill presentment and payment, eBill distribution, and Walk-In payments. These products are used by thousands of financial institutions and direct billers, including most of the top institutions in the country. BillMatrix allows for Billers to collect electronic payments via IVR, Web, and CSR; e-Bill Distribution allows Billers to publish electronic bills to Fiserv-hosted Banking front-ends/customers; and CheckFreePay provides Billers with the largest walk-in bill payment network in the U.S. Fiserv is on an aggressive path to define the next generation digital billing and payments experience, with a mission to deliver payment experiences when and where consumers want to consume them. Reporting Relationships : Reports To: Director - Account Management Peers: 3 - 5 Direct Reports: 0 Essential Job Responsibilities : Proven ability to interface with senior management or C-level executives across Client relationships Requires minimal supervision and direction; creates and presents succinct/sound recommendations independently Proven track record in attaining/exceeding quota-based metrics for self and team Strategic account planning experience required Strong presentation skills tailored to target audience Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills that include internal communication of client opportunities, issues, escalations and external communication that includes key Fiserv messages Demonstrated leadership skills coupled with strong business acumen and detail orientation Requires minimum of 7 years of account management or sales experience in a business-to-business environment or equivalent experience; with 5 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree and 7 years of experience or high school diploma and 10 years of experience. Requires 7 years of account management or sales experience in a business-to-business environment or equivalent experience; with 5 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism. Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Computer literate with minimum of 5 years experience with Salesforce.com (or similar eCRM tools), MS Office (to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook). Must have own reliable transportation, valid drivers' license, auto insurance, and good driving record. Preferred Qualifications: Relationship Management Develops and strengthens professional relationships with Client executives and decision makers, including making introductions to Fiserv Senior Leadership Team members Coordinates and executes regular status and strategy meetings with Client Senior Management teams to understand their needs and link them to Fiserv s product and service strategies Works collaboratively with Clients to negotiate timely, profitable, low-risk, multi-year renewals Provides leadership and oversight, marshalling Fiserv resources as required to respond to implementation, testing, operational, and other types of Client challenges Growing the Business Drives creation of strategic account plans that set the strategic direction, target up-line relationships within client accounts, and drive the business forward; collaborates and provides input on Enterprise plans where applicable Identifies and pursues opportunities to increase revenue derived from assigned Client relationships Responsible for proactively conducting analysis of clients business metrics and research to optimize product activity that will drive value for our external customers Conducts account and territory reviews for internal executive management team members Engages in effective forecasting and budgeting of key metrics for assigned POD client accounts Identifies and capitalizes on expansion opportunities within existing accounts and up-selling additional products/services, and assists with cross-business unit sales efforts Manages complex client relationships Travel Required : Up to 40% travel - Ability to travel to assigned Client locations as well as to other regions / territories, as may be required.
