Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities: Manage multi-million-dollar Design Build transportation projects (highway and or transit/rail) to deliver technical excellence and quality work in accordance with project schedules and budgets Manage staff and activities for a project of significant size and complexity and develop staffing plans and schedules to meet task requirements Lead the technical team through the pursuit to implementation phase of Design Build projects, working with contractors and internal team Bring a best practice mindset with an eye to constant improvement and quality in delivery of work product. Perform marketing and networking activities to develop and maintain strong client relationships, expand work, assist with developing strategic teaming partners Mentoring and developing technical capabilities of mid-level and junior staff Other duties as assigned Talent is the essence of meeting our client s objectives, goals and challenges. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in civil engineering or relevant field Minimum of 15 overall years of experience with specific, demonstrated Design Manager and/or Project Manager experience on Design Build projects for highway and/or transit/rail projects Professional registration (PE) Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships Demonstrated experience in the role of Project/Design Manager for Design Build projects Demonstrated Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience Demonstrated team building and verbal/oral skills Able to foster collaboration between technical and management teams working from other locations Computer literate Ability to travel for work when needed Preferred Qualifications Alternative delivery (design-build) experience for a contractor Civil Infrastructure (roadway/bridge) design, program management and/ or construction management experience Experience with local state and city organizations.
