Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities: Identify annual conference schedule and conduct client and competitor research to develop marketing plan, including coordination of and participation in regional conferences Work with regional sales managers and other key individuals to develop and monitor annual conference marketing plan for the East region. Track, monitor, and provide analysis of conference marketing statistics on a regular basis; regularly review and analyze data In collaboration with Corporate Marketing, contribute to the development of new marketing initiatives, strategy development and plan development for conference participation that continually drives results. May assist with facilitation of strategic marketing meetings, track the progress on initiative activities and actions, and assist with implementation of the program Manage, supervise and oversee any internal/external resources needed to execute conference marketing activities Evaluate or troubleshoot existing business development and lead tracking processes and systems to ensure the highest ROI from regional conferences Develop business, marketing, and industry knowledge through involvement in professional association membership, committee participation, and/or leadership roles within the association Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification: Bachelors degree in field of Marketing, English, Communications, Business or Journalism. Master s degree in business, management, or related field Minimum of 7 years of related experience Demonstrated expertise with event and conference planning Proven ability to develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media, sales collateral, public relations, print and digital advertising, sponsorships and special events Prior participation in organization-wide or regional marketing task forces focused on process improvements Proven ability to implement new ideas, initiatives and plans Strong communication, project management and organizational skills.
