Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Manager, Records & Information Management will develop and implement RIM tools and artifacts, including records inventories, records indexing and classification schemes, records retention and disposition schedules, and file plans to support nationwide records and information management operations for key Williams Lea client groups. The Manager, Records & Information Management will interact with all levels of the Williams Lea client organization to assess, implement and guide process improvement with a focus on quantifiably increasing records efficiencies by overseeing a broad range of initiatives. Job duties ( denotes an essential function ) Analyze, interpret and implement federal records and information management laws across a nationwide records operation, regulations, and policies, including the Federal Records Act, the Paperwork Reduction Act, the Privacy Act, the Freedom of Information Act, OMB Circular No. A-130, Management of Federal Information Resources, and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and General Services Administration (GSA) guidance and regulations. Develop strategic relationships with off-site storage vendors, enable partnership engagements, communicate their capabilities internally within Williams Lea and externally with Williams Lea clients Engage other Strategic Solutions resources to collaboratively develop the Williams Lea Information Management Proposition. Develop and implement RM tools and artifacts, including records inventories, records indexing and classification schemes, records retention and disposition schedules, and file plans. Develop enterprise information management and records policies/procedures by consulting with new and existing Williams Lea client groups and inserting best-practices. Develop corporate governance models detailing records management roles and responsibilities. Execute records and information management service health checks. Assess the daily activities of local records operations teams and recommend process improvements measured against national and international standards though Audit records management policy application throughout the enterprise. Act as the primary Records contact and subject matter expert nationwide. Oversee the development of standard operating procedures to for the support and maintenance of client RM and knowledge databases. Support operations in development and management of file destruction and box audit processes. Development of procedures to ensure the highest level of service and accountability. Generate reports from the records database for internal customers. Ensure quality assurance initiatives are being observed at all times at all records operations locations nationwide. Provide staff training and guidance across the Information Management service capability Actively work on procedure refinement. Lead and direct the work of others. Requirements Job qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, accounting, finance, business and/or information technology. Records management certification(s) (e.g., CRM). 10+ years professional experience in records, with at least 5+ years in a management role for records solutions. Proven experience in planning, organizing, and developing records and information management solutions in multiple business verticals. Knowledge of current enterprise content management and information management technologies. Able to conduct needs assessments for electronic records/information management technology and storage. Able to develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies for managing unstructured electronic records, including documents created using e-mail systems and word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation applications. Experience in pre-sales meetings with clients to communicate capabilities and solutions, and secure specifications to agree upon timeline and project scope. Knowledge of applicable domestic laws and regulations as they relate to records and information security. Strong communicator, creative, intelligent, self-disciplined and highly industrious.
