Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Duties & Responsibilities: Report and analyze subscription-in-service metric; performing research on periodic variances (subscription additions, churns, and/or other changes) May prepare forecasts in area of expertise & proactively raises issues that could impact forecasts to manager Works with business partners to document & implement moderate to complex new accounting policies & processes with some guidance from manager Provides guidance on many revenue recognition & accounting matters to business partners with more involved guidance from manager Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations & internal reports & provides audit support for moderate to complex areas requiring estimates & judgment Deliverables include contract negotiation/review, new offering review & item execution, promotion/marketing, MPA/Quote analysis, plus journal entry/reconciliation review Is able to, with review & assistance, to clearly articulate revenue risk & issues to all levels Works directly with business partners to identify & resolve any revenue recognition issues, presenting multiple options Other duties as assigned Education, Experience & Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of financial analysis and management accounting Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where adaptability is imperative Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex scenarios and topics to team and supervisors in a clear, logical manner Ability to research, apply, and document applicable accounting guidance Have MS Excel skills at an intermediate level (advanced level is a plus) Experience with Netsuite, and/or SalesForce is a major plus Experience with SaaS revenue companies.
