Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The position is focused on designing, prototyping, and implementing exceptional user interfaces that support a variety of complex data-driven workflows. As the senior UI/UX Engineer in a small agile team, you will own the product user experience, visual design, and information architecture. You are: A strong proponent of web standards, usability, and simplicity Experienced in user-focused design and usability Interested in the latest developments in front-end technologies, standards An advocate for clean, testable, reusable code Able to collaborate, self-direct, learn, and adapt Responsibilities: Design and refine the product s visual language, interaction, and overall user experience using the latest tools, techniques, and best practices Prepare and deliver design assets, maintain a style guide Prototype interactive components and flows with a strong emphasis on consistency and predictability Assist in implementing interactive components and views using modern semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Work in a relaxed, quality-focused environment with an internationally-distributed team of experts Requirements: Expertise with current UI design and prototyping tools Deep knowledge of user experience and interaction design Strong experience with OOCSS, SCSS, CSS3 Some familiarity with object-oriented JavaScript, modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React Experience with visualization best practices, tools, and common libraries (D3, Highcharts) Comfort with version control systems (Git) Familiarity with Mac OS, Linux development environments.
