In its Corporate & Institutional Banking and International Financial Services activities, also enjoys top positions in Europe, a strong presence in the Americas as well as a solid and fast-growing business in Asia-Pacific. ***Business Overview: Corporate Credit Management is responsible for the management of counterparty risk (through the credit proposal process) and transaction execution for the Corporate Clients of CIB North America. Corporate Credit Management consists of three units: (1) Corporate Credit Analysts - approx. 50 credit analysts in 6 locations focused on managing the counterparty risk of the North American Corporate Coverage clients across multiple products including traditional lending products, derivatives, and trade. Coordinates with transaction specialists in Financing Solutions or Global Markets as needed. (2) Transaction Management - a group of 20 operations professionals focused on all functional interactions for Coverage Clients. (3) Corporate Advisory Center - 2 Sr. Staff focused on managing training needs, running special projects, maintaining credit decision reporting, advising on methodology and process changes and acting as a central support center for issues relating to: (1) Credit process/procedures/methodologies and (2) AML Compliance and Regulatory topics plus CSR topics. The team acts transversally when needed across the Corporate platform (including Financing Solutions). Responsibilities: Responsible for the credit management of assigned corporate client credit relationships. Additional responsibilities include: Monitor the credit quality of a portfolio of assigned corporate borrowers including periodic review of borrower financial statements, covenant compliance reports, press releases and news articles, rating agency and equity analyst reports, industry information, etc. Prepare credit memoranda for assigned accounts including new transactions, annual reviews, renewals, amendment, waiver requests and financial updates. Coordinate the credit process amongst the various product and risk teams to ensure an efficient turnaround of transactions. Attend bank meetings and/or client calls with the Relationship Manager. Interact with other bank branches to coordinate on client strategy. Maintain reporting related to portfolio including pipeline tracking, exposure tracking, and other general reports. Interact with internal and external auditors during loan examinations. Strong interaction with the Risk department, Coverage and Product teams Assist in the mentoring of Credit Analysts, Interns, and VIEs Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree 2 years prior experience in a finance capacity Excellent writing skills - clear, concise presentation of value added information Strong accounting and financial statement analysis Preferred Qualifications: 2-4 years prior experience in a corporate banking environment Bachelor s Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or MBA Formal credit training Strong knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis, Excel, and general banking practices FINRA Registrations Required: Series 79 and Series 63 is committed to providing a work environment that fosters diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity.
