Global Agency Sales Development Specialist

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Summary: Responsible for the development, implementation and analysis of sales strategy, programs and reports designed to drive global revenue and market share performance for the big three Global travel agency accounts. Responsible for modeling agency incentive programs to optimize agreement return on investment. Supports agency globalization strategy to drive $500M in share gap gains from key agency partners. Analyzes and summarizes global market and account performance using a variety of data sources including MIDT, ARC, Revenue Pipeline, Corporate Data Solution (CDS), DB1B, and external sources such as DiioMi data. Works closely with Agency / Corporate Sales Development, Revenue Management, Market Development, Field Sales, Alliances, and agency accounts to understand competitive environment / performance drivers and determines strategies to drive share and revenue to DL and JV partners. Supports strategic market and product initiatives such as SEA, NYC, UK, Transcon, Comfort , by developing robust reporting, investigation processes, and action plans. Prepares internal communications including ad hoc reports, executive summaries, and formal presentations. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a business or analytical discipline required and 3 years equivalent work experience is required. General knowledge of Delta's markets and competitive market position, sales strategies, programs, processes, tools and infrastructure is highly desirable; travel industry sales / marketing experience is a plus. Should be solution-oriented, multi-task capable and have demonstrated the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment. Demonstrates initiative and self-directs work. Should possess strong analytical, sound organizational and planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to make sound business decisions. Highly proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required. SAS, Tableau, Hyperion / BRIO, GSIS, and Salesforce.com skills, along with working knowledge of Revenue Pipeline and MIDT tables in enterprise warehouse highly desirable. Awareness or experience with other industry data sources such as DOT Survey data and ARC data valuable. Experience with independently preparing analytical PowerPoint presentations for use by senior leadership highly desirable. Must be willing and able to travel occasionally.
