Job Responsibilities and Requirements: As a Capital One Automation Test Engineer, you'll work on a variety of software products and services creating and supporting fully-automated unit/regression testing of software hosted on the cloud. You ll have the opportunity to work with the latest testing tools like Jasmine/Karma/Selenium/Protractor/Cucumber as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes. What you'll do:Develops and executes integration, system, and regression testing of software, automating them where possible. Provide high availability automation solutions.Implements testing activities for project/value stream efforts while maintaining high quality execution; identifying task dependencies, test schedules, and the utilization of test environments, in both Agile and Waterfall based projects. Ensures test deliverable are prepared per enterprise guidelines; monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met.Interact with the product delivery team; actively participates in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements, product designs, and schedules.Collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicating to key stakeholders on a regular basis. Assess readiness and deviation of project performance based on test results.Hold domain knowledge specific to the team.Practice automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability Troubleshoot problems during automation execution Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or Military experience At least 2 years of experience working in an automated quality testing environment using tools like Selenium or Cucumber At least 2 years of programming experience with any one of the following; Ruby, Python, Perl, Java, Go or Node.JSPreferred Qualifications:2 years of experience with AWS including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, ECS, or Lambda3 years of experience automating manual test cases.
