Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities include staff development, operations management, project management, risk management, administrative management, financial management, and emergency preparedness and response. As a key member of the Police Services leadership team, the job plays a critical role in implementing System, Bank and Police Services strategies and initiatives, supporting the mission and goals of the Bank, serving as a source of strength to the Bank and Law Enforcement communities, and collaborating closely with senior management and with other partners across the organization. This job s critical roles are as follows: Key Responsibilities: Participate in developing and overseeing long-range plans and strategies for Police Services Division and Business Continuity. Represent the Division and demonstrate leadership and influence at the District and System level. Champion diversity and inclusion, and the OneBank culture and behaviors to drive employee engagement and enablement. Prepare for implementation of business continuity plans by developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external partners. Participate in designing, planning and overseeing key division meetings, e.g., town halls, planning meetings, etc., to communicate strategy, achievements, outcomes and goals of the System, Bank and Division. Participate in directing activities to include priority setting and refreshing the Division s multi-year plan for investments and capital replacement of existing assets. Direct planning for operational expense budgets and long-term capital plans to ensure alignment with strategic needs of the Division and Bank. Focus on staff growth and development, and ensure all levels of operational staff are well-trained and optimally using systems, technologies and equipment. Direct the review of processes, programs and policies to identify, test and implement solutions that improve and simplify work processes for customers and staff, resulting in greater strategic value to the Bank and constituents. Key Attributes: Ten or more years of business operations and people management experience with proven expertise in communicating and building support for ideas and achieving results without the need for positional authority. Possesses strengths at an officer level in the behavioral competencies of Collaboration, Influence, Emotional Intelligence, Development, Accountability, Leadership, Achievement, Innovation and Critical Thinking. Possesses excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to adapt messaging and communications style to effectively reach and influence various internal and external stakeholder groups. Strong people manager with an ability to coach, lead, develop and inspire others to achieve their professional best. Displays exceptional team building and collaboration skills with an ability to partner effectively with others in the pursuit of common goals, with a proven track record building relationships of trust and mutual respect with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrates resilience, flexibility and a willingness to explore different paths to achieve an outcome; is agile and adjusts quickly and efficiently to new circumstances. Encourages diverse perspectives and innovative thinking and approaches by individuals and teams. Demonstrates ability to present business ideas, strategies and results succinctly and persuasively to senior executive level. Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate complex concepts and processes, and deliver in a simple and straightforward manner. Demonstrates strong business acumen with a proven ability to evaluate the costs, risks and benefits associated with alternative actions before making decisions. Possesses sound project management and analytical skills necessary for assessing operational workflows and processes, and implementing changes to achieve operational improvements, efficiencies and other desired business outcomes. Skilled with developing project schedules, budgets and effectively mobilizing work teams and stakeholders to deliver results on time and within budget. Strategically and tactically savvy with the adept ability at managing issues and leading efforts to mitigate the impact of potential reputation and other threats to the Bank or Division. Conducts self at all times with the highest levels of personal and professional integrity. Demonstrates ability to multi-task work, reprioritize and perform well under pressure. Experience in planning and managing business continuity functions beneficial. Experience working in a compliance-oriented environment beneficial. Military or Law Enforcement background beneficial but not required. Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Business or applicable field of study.
