Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Drive common technology strategies: common development methods: standardize dev ops tool and practices, shared technical underwriting capabilities, uniform project management standards, along with integrated security and compliance practices Identify CPSO wide engineering and product management process deficiencies, create a common baseline, then execute to create an environment of constant process improvement Oversee research and evaluation of new technology and tools, leading eventual adoption across all product lines Lead strategic alignment between engineering, architecture, and product management Support and orchestrate HV new product introduction process, work with stakeholders across Engineering, PM, Legal, Export Control, Security, Pricing and Compliance to test and release new software products (hardware and software) Develop common operating metrics, scorecards, and other processes to ensure timely product delivery, code reuse, quality and overall operating efficiencies Collaborate with technology leadership across the business to drive key partnerships and cross-functional relationships Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies Oversee the complete operation for HV s data center and development labs Communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences Manage a large diverse global team of individuals, unify teams as part of one organization, develop a winning culture of excellence 15 years of professional experience in a fast-paced and technical environment (prior start-up/private equity experience preferred) BS in Computer Science or related discipline Prior CTO experience required Experience with agile software engineering methodologies Proven track record of delivering critical product and service offerings that enable business to scale Experience with IoT related technologies, business process automation, and analytics preferred Excellence in communicating (oral and written) to cross-functional leadership stakeholders General management understanding and experience 50% travel is expected.
