Job Responsibilities and Requirements: ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Analyzes key revenue generation market's fare structures to identify opportunities for revenue enhancements Create customized pricing specific to the customer and consist profiles to drive additional revenue Executes revenue impact modeling of proposed pricing changes to determine the effect on ridership and revenues as influenced by various sensitivities Develops documentation of performance through ongoing reporting, compiling results of analysis, and impact modeling as well as supported recommendations to be shared with senior management and state partners Analyze ridership and revenue results to identify developing market trends and opportunities Gathers and analyzes competitive intelligence across multiple competitors for development of recommended pricing changes Measure results of pricing actions Conduct User Acceptance Testing as required through preparation of test data and test database environment and assist in the development and execution of test plans and test scripts EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in any business field, economics, mathematics or other related fields. WORK EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated quantitative analysis, strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to analyze and interpret data. General understanding of pricing philosophies and its relationship to demand and the ability to apply supply and demand concepts. Demonstrated ability to make decisions with an appropriate balance of analysis and timeliness. Must be detail-oriented and able to meet multiple competing demands. PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE: Master's degree in Business, Mathematics or other quantitative field. Experience in data mining, market analysis, pricing, and/or planning. Experience with Access, SAS, Business Objects or SQL as a data analysis tool. Experience with Tableau or other equivalent software. Relevant work experience in the transportation industry outside of . Familiarity with revenue management data sources with ability to perform ad-hoc queries. Experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Access) or equivalent training.
