Job Responsibilities and Requirements: In this key position, you will manage the financial aspects of the CPO s software portfolio through project business case analysis and development of project cost assessment models. In addition, you will support project owners in evaluating technology investment decisions, monitoring subsequent financial performance, and will have exposure to strategic projects throughout the CPO. Highlights of Responsibilities: Develop subject matter expertise in Federal Reserve project accounting models and methodologies, internally developed software accounting guidance, and associated financial and accounting data systems; Prepare monthly reports tracking the financial performance of assigned projects, to include variance analysis; Provide financial forecasting and analytical support through the project lifecycle for strategic initiatives; Support and/or lead the annual operating expense and capital budget process through the provision of accurate and timely project accounting and financial information; Collaborate with various internal stakeholder groups, including Federal Reserve IT partners, the Board of Governors, and other System oversight groups; Research potential automation opportunities for the existing financial models and reports, while adhering to established District and Federal Reserve System standards; Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen; Bachelors degree from accredited college or university, finance/accounting concentrations preferred; 2 years of related work experience in an accounting or finance role; Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, proficiency with financial modeling tools, particularly Microsoft Excel; Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize, show initiative, and respond quickly; experience in leading/facilitating project meetings with key business partners/senior managers; Ability to articulate and communicate detailed information clearly and accurately through both written and verbal communication forms; Demonstrated ability to collaborate within and across teams, collectively generate new ideas, problem-solve, share expertise, and actively support teammates to achieve goals. Preferred Skills: Experience with Tableau and/or other business intelligence software Financial Analyst I, II or III.
