Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties: Convert business requirements from Global Securitized markets desk to technical specifications and develop and enhance related technology platforms and applications. Design and develop high performance, multi-threaded, real-time C# server-side components and services utilizing Microsoft .NET, C# and XML. Utilize RabbitMQ messaging layer to build scalable infrastructure components. Design and develop reusable code and develop and maintain tools for continuous integration and single-click deployment. Utilize Agile programming methodology to develop scalable Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and develop unit tests and mock frameworks to enhance code. Provide training and technical oversight to project resources and offshore development teams. Develop technology platforms and applications in collaboration with global teams which support trading desk for Global Securitized Market. Develop software to assist with source positioning and trading activities and develop new components and enhance existing platforms for key business functions. Translate business requirements and architect, design and build global technology solutions. Support initiatives in business analysis, project management and business continuity. Develop in-house products for unique business needs, leverage industry recognized components and incorporate various vendor products into Citi's technological solutions. Provide key support for reporting platform to ensure timely reports for all business areas, including trading, risk management, position management, PnL reconciliation and regulatory reporting. Requirements: Requires a Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst or closely related IT position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor s degree in the above listed fields and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the above stated positions. Work experience must include at least 2 years of experience in the following skills: 1. Using Microsoft .NET, C# and XML to develop high performance, multi-threaded, real-time server-side systems and applications. 2. Performing software engineering by applying Windows operating systems concepts and leveraging existing operating system functions to deliver solutions. 3. Supporting the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to unit testing and release management; and 4. Utilizing SQL to analyze data and troubleshoot issues. Additionally, 1 year of experience must include: Utilizing Team City and Jenkins to perform continuous integration activities and deliver applications; and Delivering solutions for fixed income security products and implementing fixed income trading protocols.
