Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The US Innovation group is unique in Its focus is to rapidly identify, shape, experiment and incubate new business opportunities that leverage leading edge technologies. We operate as a cross-between an applied R&D (emphasis on Development), venture capital investor and a start-up. All team members are respected and called upon for their creativity, insights and ability to make an impact, regardless of title or tenure. And most are challenged to work on multiple projects at one time. The work is intense, fast-moving and highly impactful; but most importantly fun and rewarding for those with passion for innovation. Qualifications: The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer in Application Development and IT operations, has a relentless pursuit for excellence, and is a great communicator to make an impact across reliability, automation, and engineering of on premises client solution. Must be technical expert and have strong communication skills to imagine and drive technical improvements across Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Pipeline, automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, and build and deliver solutions supporting the client. Someone that brings new thinking and is excited with the challenge of driving change and new technologies. Required Skills: Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science/Engineering or related field Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience Strong experience operating mission critical systems and designing for high availability and performance Strong experience in infrastructure (databases, Active Directory, DNS, Firewalls, networking) in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and on-premise datacenters Strong experience in Orchestration Tools (TFS, Ansible, Terraform), VSTS/Jenkins or similar ALM tool Experience with automation and continuous integration and nightly builds Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Puppet, Ansible or ChefFirm sense of accountability, ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle with solid project execution and communication skills. Experience with capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuningExperience problem solving issues on globally distributed systems and critical product service environmentsCapable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications as needed, yet cognitively agile enough to have strategy discussions with leadership Brings new thinking to challenge existing technology and processes and drive change across the organizationExcellent at building relationships across teams and communicating for influence (written, verbal, and presentation).
