Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Seeking a patent attorney or agent with 2 - 5 years of experience to join the patent practice in its San Diego office. Qualified candidates must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and have strong patent prosecution skills. The candidate preferably has experience with mechanical and electromechanical technologies and related software applications. Strong legal writing and research skills, top academics and law firm experience required. To be considered, any attorney candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the State Bar of California. Attorney and agent applicants must be registered to practice before the Patent Office.
