Job Responsibilities and Requirements: As our Analytics Engineer, you will have a massive impact and will be critical to our organization s ability to leverage data effectively. This role involves a unique blend of engineering and analytics. You ll tie our transactional data with 3rd party sources into a production analytical layer that serves as Bonobos source of truth. You ll also help the Insights & Analytics team with deep analysis and the production of our business-critical analytical models. You can look forward to working cross-functionally and at a high level without heavy oversight. you'll do... Work effectively in a uniquely cross-functional environment, and partner with teams across the organization to leverage data and apply analytical rigor to their decision-making Write, QA, and update business logic in SQL to transform our data into a flexible, production data mart - providing appropriate data models for landing, storing and merging data Translate business requirements into impactful data structures, data visualizations, and/or automated dashboard reporting Perform analysis and productionize analytical models within our pipeline Continually update and refactor data warehouse architecture to optimize system performance You Enjoy coding and are always trying to automate your work Have 1-3 years of experience in an analytics or data engineering role Have programming experience with SQL and a demonstrated understanding of data models and architecture (R & Python is a plus ) Are experienced with developing and maintaining data warehouses and business intelligence tools (Looker is a plus ) Translate complex and disparate data into insights for the organization by owning transformation and presentation with intuitive, automated visuals Can easily and clearly communicate with Insights Researchers, Data Scientists, Engineers and business stakeholders.
