Key Account Manager

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Utilize a proven track record of multi-stateaccount management while developing account plans and budgets, prepare andpresent account reviews, and communicate activities effectively both internallyand externally. Build and cultivate effective relationshipswith chains relevant to the respective territory and cater to each account toimprove market share and growth for all parties. Conduct monthly meetings with buyers to sell-innew products, programs and promotional activities. Review strategies to increase profitability andsales for products and buyers with IRI, sales data and program executionrecaps. Work closely with wholesaler and local fieldsales personnel to increase visibility, and implement, manage, track execution,and evaluate results of pricing, distribution and space initiatives. Conduct sales analysis by regularly collectingrelevant data, dissecting the data to understand opportunities and successes,drawing out actionable insights, and sharing with our key stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or other related field required. Substantive growth in current / most recent position within the last five years - Ideally within a sales, marketing, strategic, or analytic capacity - CPG experience strongly preferred. Expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendations. Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects - specifically exposure to retail initiatives with information-based selling responsibilities. Great communications/presentation, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills. Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures is preferred. Understanding of wholesaler operations. Thrive in a small, collaborative team environment and feel comfortable working autonomously. Passion for winning, a results-oriented attitude, a thoughtful approach to problem solving, and positive energy.
