Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This is the team that identifies and secures prime real estate for our future store locations. This is the team that innovates with groundbreaking new architectural concepts and designs. This is the team that sources and procures materials used to create unique spaces for showcasing portfolio of much-sought-after products. This is the team that preserves and maintains these stores with the utmost of care. Key Qualifications 10 to 15 years Retail or Commercial Construction Experience throughout North America. Global experience a plus. Minimum of 5+ years specifically in ground-up high quality construction of retail, office, hospitality, civic or museum buildings. Experience in cutting edge innovative building systems with expertise in facades, exterior systems, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and interior finishes. Minimum of 5+ years specifically in Conceptual Estimating Services. Coordinate, manage, and supervise the work of subordinate pre-construction members and support staff. Education in Architecture, Engineering or applicable degree with graduate studies preferred. Description Prepare conceptual estimates based on conceptual design for purposes such as planning, lease negotiations, and budgets. Assess cost effectiveness of alternate products, and value engineering ideas. Successfully assist design, development, real estate and consultancy groups with development of projects, evaluate alternate solutions, and cost analysis. Assist Development Managers in evaluating General Contractor proposals & Change Orders. Participate in review of Construction documents for completeness of details and scope. Assist Standards team in evaluating alternate new products and cost comparisons. Work with liaison between Direct Sourcing Team and Development Team to optimize Project costs. Develop and maintain cost models & trends by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing cost information from completed projects based on past projects. This will include establishing a database of costs.
