Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Mortgage Backed Securities group trades, structures and distributes residential mortgage-backed securities and whole loans, providing liquidity to clients and product to investors. The person in this role will function as market maker in FNMA, GNMA, FGLMC and pass through securities. The successful individual will be able to work in a team environment with the ability to build relationships quickly both internally and externally. Strong understanding of Fixed Income products Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills with ability to multi-task Project management/organizational skills Team skills - Ability to work in a flexible and fluid team Ability to interact with all levels of employees globally Background Advanced degree preferred, including courses in finance, economics, business and/or accounting Experience in investment banking.
