Job Responsibilities and Requirements: MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 20%- Responsible for driving SEO growth objectives for multiple direct eCommerce and multi-channel commerce brands 20%- Have a big-picture understanding of how SEO fits into a larger corporate strategy, and communicate this high-level vision to clients 20%- Define, prioritize, and manage execution of key SEO tactical initiatives, including keyword research and competitive analyses, site auditing, on-site optimizations, link building and content development 20%- Track and refine metrics, including referrals, link popularity, rankings, traffic and conversion using tools such as Google Analytics, Conductor, BrightEdge, and BloomReach etc. 20%- Manage team of SEO Specialist and Content Strategist NATURE AND SCOPE This position reports to the GCC VP of Marketing. This position has direct reports. ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Environment: Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness. Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in HTML, site architecture and website administration Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: 5 years experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 3 years experience within either an eCommerce or Agency setting Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments Website analysis using variety of analytical tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources Must have thorough knowledge of search ranking factors and critical updates Experience managing content SEO for a high traffic website, including testing and strategy Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and to identify and resolve problems.
