Job Responsibilities and Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the development and execution of student event strategy; focused on on-campus events. In order to deliver disruptive student event marketing programs, research and understand latest industry trends and innovations in order to define test and learn approaches to rapidly determine what works and what does not. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute campus student events; includes aligning products into the strategy and defining markets to support profitable business results. Write and present Business Cases to support student event budget concepts to receive approval of event strategies. Manage budgets for events and socialize program to stakeholders. Drive operational efficiency through collaboration, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: Understand student mindset; create events strategy based on behaviors and trends. Able to think and react quickly during event execution. Able to work fluidly when overseeing events. Agile; thrives in a fast-paced environment and can rapidly redirect according to business strategy demands. Proven business judgement, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to frame problems and effectively communicate with both executive and peer audiences. Ability and desire to be a team player; a self-starter, generating work and partnerships, while working remotely and not physically alongside team or partners. Demonstrated experience producing high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to drive results in ambiguous situations. Proven experience executing in a high-energy, high-change culture. Strong project management skills; detail and results-oriented. Bachelor s Degree with 7 years of event marketing, Field Marketing or related Marketing experience. Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, including occasional weekend travel.
