Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines Understanding of architecture and design across all systems Working proficiency in developmental tool-sets Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goalsProficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages including Java and/or Python A minimum of 3 years of work experience in Software Engineering. The role requires full-stack development, with the ideal candidate involved in all aspects of the Risk Central build out. This includes writing internal and external APIs, writing code that persists and aggregates data and building highly scalable, mission-critical components servicing users across the globeUnderstanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement Ability to think analytically and quickly pick up new technical concepts.Ability to reason about and work with distributed systemsKnowledge of risk and PNL reporting is desirableFamiliarity with any of the Big Data Tech Stack including: Scala, Spark and Impala is a plusBachelor or Master Degree from an accredited college or university in any of the following fields: Sciences, Computer Science, Physics, etc.
