Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The ideal candidate will apply a high energy level and business sense to work and communicate with key stakeholders across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Relationship Management and Product Development/Management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work with our Enterprise Data Management team to develop business process models and documentation for internal and external data sources coming into Hadoop Data Lake and data warehouses. Work with Data Governance team to develop, implement and manage data strategies, optimize data quality to improve standardization and business information value derived from enterprise data Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts Analyze and evaluate data / information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile / address conflicts or business issues Write SQL to query complex data structures Utilize data wrangling, data matching and ETL techniques to explore variety of data sources, gain data expertise and create datasets to support advanced modeling and Business Intelligence reports Develop and produce KPIs, dashboards and scorecards Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and develop graphs, reports, and presentations of results Required Skills / Knowledge: Bachelor s degree required. Major or concentration preferred in either Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar field. 5 - 10 years experience as a Business/Data Analyst, position level commensurate with experience Expertise in SQL and/or R, Hadoop, MS Excel, BI Tools Excellent understanding of data and relationship. Ability to write SQL to query complex data structure. Strong background in data modeling, data management and data manipulation Demonstrated ability to be proficient at querying and managing data High level of curiosity and investigative mind-set with an attention to detail Experience using large databases to solve problems Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills and highly experienced at dealing with clients/users at all levels, singly and in groups Experience working with Big Data is a plus.
