Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The key responsibilities for this role are: Develop global medical strategy with cross-functional teams working closely with Development, Commercial, and other stakeholders. Serve on global medical leadership team to shape direction of overall medical organization Recruit, manage, direct and mentor oncology medical product leads (Global Medical Affairs Leads (GMAL)) to ensure delivery of : Gathering Insights Engaging External stakeholder engagement Communicating (eg product narrative, scientific platform, publications, med ed) Generating Evidence Provide cross-product Global Medical Affairs strategic perspective to key commercialization forums Develop Global Core Content through leadership and direct management of teams developing core content Develop and ensure execution of publication strategies/plans Build and lead medical insights capability to inform global product and medical strategies Develop, ensure consistent execution and timely delivery of outputs through the Global Medical Affairs teams by leadership of the project management capability Manage resources/budget allocation necessary to deliver on GMA Strategy capabilities BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: M.D., DO degree , PharmD or PhD and 8 years of complex medical science experience in industry or research OR Masters and 12 years of complex medical science experience in industry or research AND 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs AND Six (6) years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the oncology therapeutic area 10 years of industry experience including Medical Affairs , Clinical Development or Clinical Study Management Experience in a product launch environment Knowledge of commercialization and business practices Finance and budgeting experience, resource management experience Extensive experience and knowledge of regulatory affairs and drug safety.
