Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Project Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring site and office safety, and has a comprehensive knowledge in the day to day execution for their assigned project(s) including managing, coordinating, and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to ensure the work is completed on time, within budget, while adhering to Webcor s quality standards and client satisfaction . ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Promotes safety and site cleanliness on job site and enforces and effectively manages Webcor s safety policy and procedures Supports and manages the project team to find solutions to design issues and constructability challenges Creates baseline coordination schedule with the Trade Coordinator s assistance and tracks coordination progress Monitors and sustains companywide VDC standards by leading Operational VDC best practices specific to 2D/3D Coordination Oversees collaboration with Back Office and ensures invoices are being reviewed and processed by the individual projects to avoid delay in wire payment Ensures that the project team understand the Specifications of the Prime Contract that relates to their VDC specific responsibilities and enforces Contract requirements Documents and reports Coordination issues with the 3D models and/or Contract Documents Ensures QA/QC of Coordination models are being performed continuously throughout the Coordination process Manages Coordination progress, delivery and performance Supports project teams with initial Coordination startup Ensures process of sign off and final submittal of coordinated deliverables are being followed Provides a review and feedback on the projects Buyout schedule to ensure Webcor is scheduling the Subcontractor s on time and eliminating risk in the Coordination process Prepares and monitors pricing for Back Office deliverables such as Clash Detection, Bluebeam Comparison, Document Control and Gap Modeling Ensures all Submittals and Reference documents generated internally are reported in a systematic and traceable manner Ensures delays are inserted into the Master Schedule and weekly updates are given to the Project Team Provides training and technical support to all stakeholders on multiple projects, including, Subcontractors, Design Teams and Owners Collaborates with other Trade Coordinators and other Project Managers to resolve technical issues, and reaches out to internal departments, vendors or other resources if necessary TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Thorough knowledge of Prime Contract, Subcontracts and Contract types: includes lump sum, GMP, hard bid, design-build, etc. pertaining to VDC scope and deliverables Comprehensive knowledge of Contract Documents, including reading and writing portions of Subcontracts Familiarity of all aspects of building to include site work, structure, finishes, envelope, MEPS Proficient using PDF editors, MS Office, FTP sites, Outlook and Go-To Meetings High level of competency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 Glue and other Autodesk products and applicable techniques Has an operating knowledge of Webcor s standard software for project scheduling Familiarity with database information using project management software such as CMiC Strong ability to plan, problem solve, and troubleshoot with multi-disciplinary teams Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of quality Highly organized, able to set priorities and multi-task while being involved on multiple projects Stays current with new technologies, VDC software, integration and other applicable practices Famliarity with laser scanning and managing production of 4D deliverables LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED Serves as company interface between Owner-Architect-Webcor Team and is responsible for developing leadership, motivation, communication and accountability Effectively manages problem prevention strategies to limit reactionary practices and shares lessons learned Selects, supervises, trains, assigns and counsels staff Ensures project goals and expectations are realistic, achievable, and revisited/revised at appropriate times during the life of the project Ability to address an audience of various size and effectively communicates his/her message and ideas in a collaborative and positive manner Clearly defines goals, understands audiences, manages productive meetings and builds team morale Ability to write clear and concise thoughts in a professional manner REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology or Architecture Five plus years of BIM/VDC experience in constructions projects involving preconstruction or construction operations, to include two to three years as a Trade Coordinator, Assistant Superintendent or Assistant Project Manager. LEED AP preferred.
