Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Primary Responsibilities System Development Leads meetings with peers and customers to develop and modify applications and reports. Designs CCL extracts for reports, rules and applications. Prepares the appropriate documentation to support your work. Documents rules, applications and reports in accordance with Client standards. Develops test data and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle. Performs QA testing on application functionality. Ensures strict adherence to work plans, reporting all serious deviations to management. System Maintenance/Support Develops, documents, and maintains source code management application. Documents and implements version control policies and procedures. Researches and resolves client related incidents. Provides on-call support as scheduled. Project Administration Tracks and reports project status and progress. Presents status and reports for periodic management reviews. Adheres to client project management standards. Works with customers, peers and consultants. Administration Prepares and promptly submits all routine and special reports. Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems. Performs other tasks as required by management. Knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques. Knowledge of application development, testing, implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices. Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, HTML, etc. is desired. Cerner: 3 years of experience with Cerner's CCL programming language and tools. Requires an understanding of the Cerner data model and architecture in order to be successful. Significant Clinical workflow knowledge in a hospital setting, a plus. Rules and mPages experience a plus This position requires the successful completion of a background investigation and/or drug screen.
