Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Principal Duties and Responsibilities Industry Relations Program Administration Supports Industry Relations program administration, including development of strategies and plans, internal meeting planning, project management, planning, and tracking, and program performance reporting Utilizes established tools and processes to support IRP central coordination of industry relationship activities. Ensures relationship database is maintained with accurate information about organizations, contacts, events and meetings. Applies strong written / verbal skills to develop effective internal and external communications Industry Relationship Management Supports CRSO Industry Relations leadership team in efforts to build favorable relationships with industry organizations to achieve strategic objectives. Duties may include industry research, executive briefings, meeting planning, action-item tracking, meeting participation and reporting. Captures, synthesizes and reports key learnings from industry interactions to inform business plans and decisions. Responsibilities include monthly and ad hoc qualitative and quantitative reporting on engagement activities for internal stakeholder and governance groups. Demonstrates comfort in presenting to and collaborating with executive management Strategic Communications and Events Contributes to communications program development, execution, monitoring and reporting, to include social media, traditional media, web, email, events and other channels. Responsibilities may include communication planning, content development, editing, coordination of reviews and approvals, social media monitoring, response tracking, and media tracking. Promotes the FRFS strategic direction to traditional and new audiences through planning and execution of virtual and in-person industry meetings, events and speaking engagements. Responsibilities include coordination with internal and external event contacts, development of materials, coordination of meeting/events logistics and development / distribution of communications Implements communication strategies and tools that drive consistent and effective messaging regarding payment system improvement initiatives. Produces presentations and talking points for internal / external audiences building engagement around Federal Reserve System strategic direction Supports a strong team environment by collaborating with industry relations representatives to support communications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below 1 to 3 years of sales, marketing or communications experience Coursework in Marketing, Business, Communications Knowledge and Skills Independent thinking and decision-making abilities Strong written and oral communication/presentation skills, Strong attention to detail and time/project management skills Ability to work well in diverse groups and with executives at all levels Other Requirements and Physical Requirements Must be willing to travel up to 20 percent of time This document indicates the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this position.
