Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Primary responsibilities include: Develop and deploy global Community Relations programming in partnership with strategically identified nonprofit partners with an eye towards brand visibility, employee engagement and community impact. Oversee the Corporate Sustainability Council including environmental strategy, execution, measurement and reporting. Spearhead internal initiatives aimed at improving global CSR story including volunteerism and sustainability programs. Proactively report on success in the areas of Sustainability and Corporate Philanthropy to internal and external stakeholders. Craft communications for both internal and external audiences regarding key activities in CSR and continually promote through all available channels including social, digital and traditional media. Direct implementation of corporate giving protocols, policies and procedures for solicitations, product donations and grants. Manage customer inquiries and category surveys such as CDP, UNGC, CECP and BCCCC. Publish bi-annual Global CSR Report in partnership with the Sustainability Council. Determine hometown (Stamford, CT) strategy and serve as face of the community. Serve as spokesperson on issues related to the environment and community outreach. Effectively manage a budget continually seeking out opportunities for economies of scale and evaluating existing practices for improvement. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications Strong project management experience 7-10 years of relevant expertise in public relations, marketing and/or corporate social responsibility Strong writing skills Worked with diverse cultures and corporate settings Experience in an international organization Experience managing budgets Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies: MBA or Masters in Communications Business-orientation with strong experience in a global company Entrepreneurial Experience in developing PR and communications plans Excellent communications skills, particularly writing Detail oriented in a background in program design, metrics, outcomes and evaluation. Creative, outgoing, positive and organized with a strong ability to manage multiple projects at the same time Collaborative and team oriented. Leadership: Creative, outgoing, positive and organized with a strong ability to manage multiple projects at the same time Change-Orientation: Entrepreneurial Focused on best practice learning and sharing Collaboration: Experience in developing PR and communications plans Collaborative and team oriented Excellent communications skills, particularly writing Judgment: Knowledge of nonprofit landscape and trends Ability advise on ethical engagement with nonprofits Results-Driven: Background in program design, metrics, outcomes and evaluation.
