Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Data Collection and Management team is looking for a senior analytics consultant to join its team. This position will play a leading role in data sourcing, data processing and perform validation and reconciliation for the Company s regulatory reporting filings including CCAR FR-Y14 monthly and quarterly reports to the Federal Reserve Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to the following: Develop and streamline production validation reports Optimize SAS codes to enhance programing run-time efficiency Plan, execute, and review the new report development Perform trend analysis and raise questions to ensure data quality Prepare and review the post-filing response to the regulators inquiry Support ad-hoc report request for reporting analysis and issue investigation Provide technical assistance as a subject matter expert for less experienced staff, business line reporters, and other interested parties (e.g. auditors and regulatory examiners) A successful team member in this role should have the following competencies/traits: Demonstrated ability to solve complex design problems. Demonstrated ability to interface with all organizational levels including facilitating meetings Ability to present technical information intra/inter-departmentally Meeting and project facilitation skills Ability to work with remote resources Strong communications skills Capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business needs and incorporate these needs into technical solutions Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis 2 + years experience coding SAS on a UNIX platform Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Access 1+ years experience in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling Desired Qualifications: Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 1+ year of risk and regulatory compliance experience 3+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience 3+ years of financial services experience 2+ years of UNIX experience 2+ years of SAS experience Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding BASEL, Risk Appetite and stress testing Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
