Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Support the managing director and MD team on client engagement activities, including: Conducting market research Providing analysis and recommendations Organizing and managing client data sets Creating presentations and other dynamic deliverables Provide input into strategic recommendations that help our clients accelerate growth and increase their enterprise value Evaluate and refine client messaging and positioning against the competitive landscape Review and/or create financial models for clients in various stages of maturity, including early business planning, growth-stage investment activities, and potential M&A transactions Study client data sets and create strategic recommendations to optimize their business model Analyze market trends in the digital space and identify research, data and information that is relevant to MD areas of focus and specific client engagements Provide input into strategic recommendations that help our clients accelerate growth and increase their enterprise value Produce compelling thought leadership around the digital and frontier technology industries that is insightful to our clients, followers and broader publications for distribution Take clear and effective notes during client meetings and facilitate the follow-thru of action items Identify new areas of market opportunity for our business offerings and drive initiatives to support our growth Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with a record of academic excellence One to two years of prior management consulting or investment banking experience Understanding of and passion for digital media, entertainment, music, and technology industries, experience with digital video/OTT, VR/AR, e-sports, fintech/cryptocurrency a plus Impeccable analytical skills and the ability to provide insights and recommendations based on research, data and market trends Proactive personality and a self-starter with a drive to constantly add value to client work, team collaboration and internal opportunities Demonstrated interest in the digital space, such as work experience, industry memberships or thought leadership examples Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in a variety of settings and media, including working with C-level executives Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others in a fast-paced environment Desire to network among industry peers, attend industry events and evangelize for Manatt Digital Strong computer skills, including expert-level knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel Highly detail-oriented with superior organizational skills Resourceful and demonstrated strong research skills Must have the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and support multiple client/project demands in a fast-paced, changing environment.
