Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Principal Accountabilities: Create robust business relationships with ten to twelve IT business partners by thoroughly and completely understanding how a department or business line operates and ensuring that IT delivers timely and value driven solutions that solve business challenges. Facilitate and drive innovation by ensuring that there is a constant overlap between business and technology. Interface with business areas to shape demand, including understanding the business requirements, justification, and priority of an initiative and work with IT teams to bring the request through the project lifecycle. Partner with business lines to achieve their strategic initiatives, FRB Boston High Priority Objectives, and Federal Reserve System strategic initiatives. Validate the justification for business requests, and assess the relative priority of the request against others from the same or competing portfolios. Identify emerging technology trends and communicate these trends to our customers. Assist business partners in identifying technology needs and strategies, and developing actionable plans and roadmaps to implement these strategies. Educate on financial implications of technology investments. Manage service level agreements, communicate IT service options, solicit feedback, consult with business areas on broad business and technology requirements, and track IT performance metrics. Educate all areas of BTS by effectively discussing business issues, project concerns and the complexities associated with service delivery. Other Accountabilities:Perform other duties as assigned. Supervision:This position directly supervises 0-2 employees. Knowledge and Experience:Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of job related experience. BRMP or CBRM certification preferred. Strong relationship building skills. Exemplary communication and marketing skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Highly developed oral and written communication abilities, including the ability to prepare and deliver presentations to a senior audience. The ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization. Solid understanding of IT application development, operations, and other services typically provided by a central IT organization. Proven negotiation skills. Proven experience managing multiple competing initiatives.
