Project Manager

Boston Massachusetts Seeking IT Project Manager. The candidate will be serving as a key member of the IT Project Management team, the Project Manager is responsible for a wide range of activities associated with taking an assigned project from original concept through final implementation. The Project Manager/Business Analyst is the primary point of contact between the business process owner and the Information Technology department. Strong analytical and project lifecycle management skills are required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. The Associate Project Manager is also responsible for participating in the validation, change management and ongoing support of applications after launch. Oversee a wide variety of projects and activities of varying size and scope. Provide standard project management: Research and identify solutions; Define project scope and objectives; Create and maintain project schedules; Estimate time requirements: establish deadlines and monitor milestone completion; Lead project teams to review project deliverables and track progress against deadlines; Meet with appropriate personnel for periodic reviews of prototypes and final products. Elicit detailed solution requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process analysis and use cases. Identify vendors, coordinate demos and guide decision-making process. Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely. Collaborate with cancer pharmacologists, biologists, histopathologists, and biochemists in the generation of novel animal models, imaging biomarkers, and drug efficacy read-outs. Represent Imaging and Discovery departments for biomarker planning for clinical research and development of molecules. Initiate extramural collaborations and CRO imaging investigations. Produce timely and comprehensive internal and external reports, publications, and presentations of research. Should have a Ph.D. in bioimaging or in vivo radiochemistry with nuclear imaging expertise with 4 - 6 years academic and pharmaceutical industry experience. Advanced imaging acquisition in nuclear medicine, e.g. dynamic imaging, and multi tracer imaging required. Understanding of basic biology, pharmacology, small animal imaging and oncology required. Should be familiar with data processing, analysis and modeling. Should have strong collaboration skills and a rich understanding of imaging applications and physics to facilitate cross-modal studies.
