Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Position Summary Provide analytical and systems support for departmental financial functions including development of three year strategic plan, annual operating budget, capital analysis, monthly forecasts, and performance analysis. Provide support for catalog forecasting and operational planning, financial & demand reporting, promotional and daily sales forecasting, monthly financial reconciliations, SKU profitability and shipping strategy. Specific Responsibilities Support departmental input into the financial system and provide standard reporting and ad hoc analytics to reconcile actual expenses vs. forecast and budget. Help improve forecasting accuracy across all brands by improving consistency in assumptions and methodologies Participate and assist in the preparation of all departmental financial planning 3 Year, Annual Budget and Monthly Reviews. Run SKU level profitability reporting and identify low profit SKU's Communicate and recommend courses of action to increase profitability of underperforming SKU's to stakeholders Pricing Analytics - provide support and analytics for promotional activity and shipping economicsBe a champion of continual profit improvement REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications Finance, economics, accounting degree or related degree and work experience. 2 - 4 years of experience in an analytical and reporting role Demonstrated analytical skills. Strong proficiency in Excel modeling MS Access or SQL data mining desired but not required Attention to detail and excellent follow through. Demonstrates self-management and initiative.
