Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Field Marketing Regional Manager should have experience in Sales and building customer relationships. Additionally, the Field Marketing Regional Manager must have the ability to manage a regional team of Field Marketers, execute Field Marketing tactics, effectively connect with consumers to understand their needs, and communicate key consumer insights to the Field Marketing Operations Director. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR DUTIES Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Manage a team of Field Marketers to ensure they are executing field marketing strategies at the regional level and surveying, sampling, and executing brand campaigns effectively to pull insights from shoppers and consumers in each region - Deliver positive volume trend growth for their assigned region, brands, and products - Lead in assigned region to provide field intelligence to the Field Marketing Operations Director on brand perception, product performance, customer specific execution, competition, and consumer insights in region to inform brand managers, sales leadership, product innovation managers, Marketing, and Strategy & Ventures on potential business opportunities - Partner closely with the regional Sales teams to define and execute programs tied to revenue goals, including but not limited to regional and local events, account based marketing programs, and joint marketing programs - Determine effectiveness and frequency of in-store displays and campaigns at regional level to inform sales leadership and brand to create effective future in-store campaigns - Collaborate with Business Analytics & Insights team to provide data at regional view, and partner with team to interpret consumer-level data to become more knowledgeable in the field, improve data gathering, and develop business ideas. - Hire and coach Field Marketers, including recruiting, training, and motivating the field marketing team to empower them to meet and exceed expectations - Execute consumer interaction strategies in region, such as surveys, sampling, and other campaigns to most effectively gather data on end consumer behavior - Possess understanding of brand vision to execute at the local level and to provide direct, real-time feedback on brand campaigns and product changes from end consumer standpoint - Develop and execute consumer-driven, regionally/locally oriented brand strategies, programs and events that will increase consumer demand, sales, and positively impact brand equity - Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes - Oxley, Safety, etc.) - Perform other duties which are deemed to be an integral part of the position, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures. DESIRED EXPERIENCE 5 - 7+ years marketing and sales experience and/or experience in industry. Experience managing field marketers and/or small regional teams preferred. DESIRED EDUCATION B.A./B.S in Marketing, Communication, or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
