Strategic Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in driving acquisition growth off products through innovative campaigns and tactics, especially in the higher education space. Specific Responsibilities: - Lead campaign strategy and development for suite of higher education products - Develop integrated marketing campaigns that leverage a variety of channels including email, social, web, etc. that move prospects through the sales funnel - Manage team of 2-3 Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) responsible for execution and measurement of plans; partner with digital, content, events, PR, and research on the production and measurement of campaigns - Leverage and monitor data to drive insights on optimizing and nurturing leads - Responsible for team reporting utilizing Salesforce and marketing automation platform - Overhaul internal list by creating rules of engagement and segments; develop nurture tracks to convert unengaged and newly acquired prospects - Develop product buyer personas and positioning/messaging based on competitive analysis, market factors and member feedback - Serve as the internal and external champion for higher education products - Ability to coach, mentor, and train junior level marketing staff on marketing best practices and foundations Basic Qualifications: - Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience ideally in product marketing, B2B marketing or demand generation - Strong written and oral communication skills - Experience in achieving goals working in a fast-paced, cross-functional role - Ability to influence peers and management to support business goals - Ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and projects - Experience in working with CRM and marketing automation systems - 2 years of people management experience (preferred) - Bachelors degree in business or marketing (preferred).
