Job Responsibilities and Requirements: General Profile: Designing and analyzing business reports based on specific and various reinsurance policy data Tracking and analyzing First Year Commissions (FYC) reports for three Sales Incentive Bonuses Maintaining all regulatory documentation pertaining to reinsurance agreements, stock records, by laws, articles of incorporation and any subsequent amendments thereof Tracking the employment status of shareholders, then assessing if this results in an eligible triggering event of their stock redemption date Requesting and then assessing compliance reviews of the Board of Directors Writing and distributing the monthly Executive Committee minutes Processing payments using the company's database for check and wire transfer requests Assessing and submitting monthly and quarterly journal entries in the general ledger system (i.e., SAP) Reconciling the clearing and expense accounts in SAP Documenting and tracking paid expenses or funds received that are related to a holding company and its subsidiary Scheduling meetings for the NYLARC Board and Committees Functional Knowledge: Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience Intermediate to advance proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) Excellent time management, organizational and multi tasking skills required to effectively manage a diverse work load Detail oriented with the ability to analyze data and able to complete work with a high level of accuracy Strong written and verbal inter personal skills, effectively communicating with various internal customers and teams at different levels Ability to work independently while remaining flexible to meet team goals Must have or complete LOMA courses 1 and 2 within one year Problem Solving: Analyzing processes and data flows, identifying potential redundancies, overlaps in accountability, etc. Decision Making/ Nature of Impact: Making recommendations for action plans or streamlining to improve business processes or performance Communication Requirements: Communication skills in processing and summarizing information that is shared with the directors and shareholders Communicates effectively in business and technical terms Ability to communicate in written, oral and presentation formats to best represent and express user and organizational requirements to audiences up to mid level management.
