Job Responsibilities and Requirements: As a Lead Software Engineer- Cardiac Surgery you will: Work closely with clinical, administrative staff and research analysts in the Cardiac Surgery department. Effectively manage multiple projects, assign tasks to team members and address competing priorities. Conduct code reviews enforcing coding standards and best practices. Mentor team members to ensure technical growth and productivity. Co-ordinate and collaborate with other application development teams for software integration and deployment. Self-motivated individual who will be a positive contributor, motivating other team members. Provide hands-on development while leading 2 developers that design, develop, implement and support database driven web application supporting the needs of Cardiac Surgery To qualify, you must have: 8 years of experience in web application development using Microsoft .Net technologies with at least 2 of those years in a team lead or lead developer role. Proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including C#, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, MVC and Entity Framework 6.x, Web API and TFS. Experience with service oriented architecture (SOA), web services (JSON/RESTful). Experience in web development using HTML 5, CSS3, Bootstrap and JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Angular 2. Strong RDBMS concepts, with working experience on Oracle and/or SQL Server. Experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures. Experience applying object oriented design principles and design patterns. Experience in agile, scrum development methods. Strong leadership qualities and management skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or its equivalent.
