Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Overall purpose of roleL3 Support focused across our strategic BI technologies including SAP Business Objects, QlikView. QlikSense, Tableau and Microsoft SSRS and technical leadership to fellow L1 and L2 RTB support staff. Role will be engaged with planning Infrastructure upgrade, expansion and maintenance projects. Key Accountabilities L3 Support role covering SAP Business Objects 3 & 4o QlikView 11 & 12o QlikSense Microsoft SSRS Technical Leadership of L1 and L2 Support Engineers including managed service and permanent team members Acting as SME for the above listed BI Tools(at least 2 is required) Contributing maintaining appropriate service level to stakeholders Technical leadership Escalation (MIH) Designing and architecting new BI platforms Stakeholder Management and Leadership The role will involve interaction directly with stakeholders, typically in challenging situations thus requires a technically proficient individual with the ability to provide clear guidance and troubleshooting working directly with users across Business Intelligence topics. Interaction with stakeholders to gather new requirements, analyse the problem and provide the best solution in terms of cost effectiveness, effort and easy maintenance. Decision-making and Problem Solving Critical to the success of this position is the ability to show evaluative judgement and analytical skills. Problems are often highly complex and require engagement with stakeholders, teams throughout the group and software vendors. Thus this requires; A Strong work ethic with ability to handle high pressure situations with minimum direction A Team player, with proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines Ability to diagnose and resolve complicated issues/problems in aggressive timeframes Ability to enhance existing systems and process to improve service to user base Risk and Control ObjectiveEnsure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards. Person Specification Basic Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor s Degree or equivalent 8 years experience delivering Business Intelligence Platforms Admin and/or Developing solutions to include one of;o SAP Business Objectso QlikViewo Microsoft SSRS 8 years of experience with installation, configuration and system architecture of BI Platforms 5 years administration of Windows Server environment 5 years service management experience delivering infrastructure BI platforms within a large multi-national organisation 5 years experience migrating content through environments, creating connections, folders and users rights (QMC/CMC experience) 8 years of proven experience supporting large scale Business Intelligence platforms in above mentioned technologies Preferred Qualifications/Skills: Additionally any experience with other BI Technologies such as;o Tibco Spotfireo QlikSenseo IBM Cognoso Tableauo Oracle BIo Micro strategyo Actuate Business Intelligence development experience Dashboard/Report/Universe/Script design Knowledge of Database and data warehousing concepts Experience of Cloud based BI solutions Experience within Financial Service organizations Strong communication skills - both written and verbal A Strong work ethic with ability to handle high pressure situations with minimum direction A Team player, with proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines Ability to diagnose and resolve complicated issues/problems in aggressive timeframes Purpose and Values has a single cross-business Purpose for and five core Values which underpin it.
