Junior Inspector I

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: We have an immediate need for a Junior Inspector for our New York City Office office to support the NYCT drainage inspection and cleaning project. Under general supervision, the Junior Inspector will perform intermediate level engineering technician inspection duties. Most work will be nights and or weekends. Reads and interprets drawings and specifications Prepares inspection reports; may participate in the development of job safety practices Inspects various facets of work on the construction site Observes general job safety practices Follows applicable quality control practices and procedures Complies with client policies and procedures for inspection of work under contract Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Required Qualifications: High school graduate or GED equivalent with a math background. Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience. Construction inspection experience is a plus. NYCT experience preferred. Current NYCT Track Safety training is a plus. NICET certified at level II is a plus.
